As one of Bangladesh’s premier open-water swimming events, Meghna 5K Swimming is designed to inspire swimmers of all levels. Whether you’re pushing for a personal best or taking your first step into open-water swimming, there’s something here for everyone.

Age Group Categories (Only for 5KM – Male)
We are excited to introduce age-based podium categories to ensure every swimmer gets a fair chance to shine.

Important Notes:
Any swimmer achieving a podium position in the overall category will not be eligible for age-group podiums.
The top 3 finishers in each 5KM age group will receive a special commemorative crest as a symbol of excellence.
Female Prize Money Policy:
Female Champion, 1st Runner-Up, and 2nd Runner-Up will receive prize money only if at least 10 participants register in the respective category (5KM / 2KM / 1KM).
If fewer than 10 participants register, only the Champion will be awarded.

Transportation Details:
From Dhaka (Gulistan) to Start Point, Take “Swadesh” or “Doyel” bus to Sonargaon Mograpara Cross the road and take Auto/CNG to Ananda Bazar Ghat.

Return Journey:
From Chalibanga, participants will be transported by our reserved trollers to Baidder Bazar Ghat(Included in event fee – no extra charge)
From Baidder Bazar Ghat, return to Sonargaon Mogorapara by Auto/CNG (20/=) and then back to Gulistan.
